The one-day course will take you through the ecology of the different species, what they eat, where they live and what eats them. You will find out about food chains and food webs and the importance of these little animals for our wider biodiversity. You will observe the checking of small mammal traps which have been set in different locations to understand how bio-diverse Betteshanger Park is and be able to identify and take biometric data of the species found.
