Join us for a weekend-long celebration of spring. We welcome back some popular furry and feathery friends plus we’ve invited a few new faces along for the ride. A weekend packed with family friendly events and activities.
The Essex Dog Display team, Britain’s premier dog display team, will be making their first visit to the Park. The talented dogs scale ramps, negotiate obstacles, face hoops of fire and apprehend ‘criminals’ in an action-packed display which is guaranteed to leave you spellbound. With fascinating commentary throughout, you’ll learn all about the various breeds of dogs in the entertaining display. A few lucky members of the audience will be called upon to take part in the display.
Displays take place daily at 11:00 and 3:00.
The popular Sky Birds of Prey team and their magnificent birds are back for 2018! You’ll have the chance to get up close, learn about their behaviour and witness fantastic displays during flight. Audience participation is not uncommon!
The birds will be in the Park each day from 10am until 1.30pm, with a flying display at 1pm.
For those looking for a more intimate experience with the Birds, there will be a special ‘Birds of Prey Experience’ at 2pm each day (pre-booked only).
The award-winning Mike’s Donkeys also make a much-anticipated return. Bella, Charlie, Danny and Dermot, the loveable donkeys, will be making a trip to the coast and stopping at Betteshanger between 10am and 4pm each day. Chin rubs, back scratches, cuddles and carrots are the order of the day.
Our sister organisation, Hadlow College, will be demonstrating expert dog grooming skills and providing lots of helpful tips for your own four-legged friends.
Plus there’ll be lots of fun stalls, crafts and local food and drink to enjoy.
A daily admission fee of £3 per vehicle applies at Betteshanger Park. Entry to the Spring on the Park event is free.
