Join Us for Oli’s Magical Walk Under the Stars!

Calling all little explorers and star-gazers, get ready for the most sparkly night of the year! On Saturday 18th October 2025, at Betteshanger Country Park (in Deal, CT14 0BF), families are invited to a 2-mile torch-lit adventure under the night sky. This event has FREE parking also!!

Registration kicks off at 18:00, and the magical walk begins at 19:00.

Why it’s the perfect family night out:

  • Bring your own torch (or headlamp) because darkness just makes the stars shine brighter!
    •  Fully paved and buggy-friendly - great for prams, wheelchairs, and all abilities.
    •  Free glowsticks for the kids to light up their path - while supplies last!
    •  Free finishing medal for every child’s adventure, and a shiny keepsake!

Loads of fun activities all included or for just a pound or two:

  • Guess the Dinosaur’s Name (£1): Guess right and win a cuddly dino friend!
    •  Oli’s Lucky Dip (£1): Pull a surprise prize every time and maybe find the golden star for a giant teddy bear!
    •  Rex’s Treasure Hunt (£2): Pick a square, discover a treasure - top prize is a £25 Smyths Toys voucher, but every square is a winner!
    •  Oli’s Mini Golf (£2): Swing by (weather permitting) for a goofy 9-hole challenge!
    •  Starlight Trail Hunt (Free): Spot the glowing letters along the path, find the two secret words, and claim a free goodie bag!

Need a treat or a warm drink afterward? No problem! Refreshments will be for sale from 18:00 to 21:00, perfect for cosy sips and yummy bites under the stars.
