THE BEAST ACTIVITY WAIVER
I acknowledge that this is an athletic event and carries with it risks that include but are not
limited to personal injury, property damage or theft, disability or death caused by the actions
of myself or other people including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators,
event officials and/or producers of the event; lack of hydration, and/or other health risks
which may be precipitated by my participation in this event. I hereby assume all of the risks
of participating in this event.
I hereby confirm that I am in good physical condition, not pregnant, not under the influence of
alcohol, drugs or any other medicine, prescribed or not, and do not suffer from any
disabilities or physical conditions that place me or others at risk or otherwise should prohibit
mine or their participation in this event.
I hereby also confirm that this Acknowledgement, Waiver and Release of Liability (AWRL)
form will be used by HOLD MY SHOES BVBA and the partners, suppliers and/or sponsors of
the event in which I may participate and it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said
event. In consideration of my application and for permitting me to participate in this event, I
hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors
and assigns as follows: (A) waive, release, and discharge from any and all liability for my
personal injury, property damage or theft, disability and even death, or actions of any kind
which may hereafter accrue to me, even if arising from the negligence of the releasees,
HOLD MY SHOES BVBA and their directors, employees, volunteers, representatives, as
well as the event sponsors, partners, hosts, crew and volunteers, (B) indemnify and hold
harmless all entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or
claims made by other individuals or entities as a result of my actions during this event.
I hereby consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of
injury, accident, and/or illness during this event.
I understand that at this event or related activities I may be photographed or filmed. I agree
to allow my photo or video to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders,
producers, sponsors, organisers and/or partners, without any financial remuneration.
This AWRL shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum
extent permissible under applicable law.
